Labor vs. Equipment: What's the Difference?
A lot of warranty confusion comes down to this one distinction. The manufacturer's warranty covers the physical equipment and its parts if they fail. It does not pay for the time it takes a technician to diagnose the problem or perform the repair.
That labor is always covered separately, under our own warranty: 30 days on any repair we perform, and 1 year on new installations. If you want more than a year of labor coverage on an installation, extended options are available for purchase, priced based on the equipment involved.
